I don't think charges were ever filed- we felt she had been through enough and didn't push the punch as the cause.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1408616337296439010.post-92017292824450265182009-08-07T10:39:44.365-07:002009-08-07T10:39:44.365-07:00Well, she has to live with the fact that she kille...Well, she has to live with the fact that she killed someone for no good reason. As for intent, well....she did strike him in the chest, didn't she? Manslaughter, Negligent Homicide, that's for someone better qualified to say, however, cause and effect.....She does say that she got pissed off, and so here we are. If it were with the intent more like kidding around like many of us have done in the past, then maybe not.Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06200546951638149853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1408616337296439010.post-74921974359747122152009-08-06T18:33:15.208-07:002009-08-06T18:33:15.208-07:00Dan, I can't say I agree with you. If a man punched another man in the chest for looking at his girlfriend and the guy died, we'd have a problem with it. Ditto if it was two women. I don't think that, because it was a woman punching a man, we should excuse it. Seriously, how is punching someone for looking at a member of the opposite sex ever reasonable?Sabrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13746486966764162127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1408616337296439010.post-91843765209591334602009-08-06T16:20:07.324-07:002009-08-06T16:20:07.324-07:00Did she think/know that she caused it?Did she think/know that she caused it?Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07923049494756911105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1408616337296439010.post-35839542113799936792009-08-06T08:17:42.089-07:002009-08-06T08:17:42.089-07:00Holy crap.Holy crap.ERPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15973334581468131595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1408616337296439010.post-19331538026080230592009-08-06T07:17:09.448-07:002009-08-06T07:17:09.448-07:00Just a note to say that I do not think that she sh...Just a note to say that I do not think that she should be charged with anything, just that with some of the laws we have today she COULD be. This is usually part of the state's penal code so it would probably depend on the state but since battery is a crime and he died as a result of the crime, she could probably be charged.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1408616337296439010.post-50986446957698947262009-08-05T20:38:49.258-07:002009-08-05T20:38:49.258-07:00Just curious, but would she be guilty of manslaugh...Just curious, but would she be guilty of manslaughter because it was her punch that caused his death?Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06200546951638149853noreply@blogger.com
